Tree drawings

Ongoing series of pencil drawings of trees or tree formations, showing the familiar shapes and patterns in a way that sparks recognition on a primal, rather than a cognitive level. I draw on vintage paper that has been in my studio paper stockpile since I can't remember when, or on found materials that speak to me by their shape or color.
