The Amazing Daily Hell

I'm very proud to have been part of this art project at the Lowlands Festival, initiated by - then - Lowlands designer/art director Peter te Bos as a counterstrike against the increasingly prudish mediocrity of the official festival communication. Started as a small, handmade, limited edition magazine, it turned into a large scale art project on the festival ground for three consecutive years, also aiming to be a platform for visitors, in the form of on-the-spot portrait photos. A constant work in progress, our 'canvas' was changing every day.

Having been Peter's sparring partner for the Lowlands website design, it was a logical step to join this project as well. Peter was the overall designer, Lo Andela did his beautiful photography, I contributed mainly as a writer of sorts, plus a bit of illustration and design.
